Hello!
As time goes by, I'm slowly making changes in my own home. It's definitely a labor of love. And I find as I take my time, and find the right things for me, I am happier in the end result.
I thought I'd share with you the latest update on my master bedroom bedding atleast, and the starburst mirror I finally let myself have (not that it was expensive at all).
I want a collected-over-time style in my home. A set is just not going to work for me. I find them overwhelming. I find they take away from the feeling I want in a room. That said, if you love sets, there is nothing wrong with that. I'm just taking about what I like for my own home ;)

It's interesting to me that I'm finding I love mid-century modern pieces more and more. I never considered it to be part of my decorating style. But hey, I'm open to it. I'm open to whatever style makes me feel good. And when I go into my bedroom every night, I smile when I see my mirror, duvet and my chandelier. And that's what decorating and design really comes down to, making you feel happy in your space.
Have a great day, friends!
